I fail and feel so blah =/.
That Windows 7 review is just a LITTLE bit behind XD, not that it matters, no one looks at this =/.
Um, Windows 7 is... okay. It's not that great but it's better than Vista, I'll tell you that.
It's got a lot of the same security that Vista had so I'm finding that I will accidentally start something not as an admin and then have to redo all my work again when I'm saving something to /Program Files or another protected folder.
The UI is amazing, really easy to use and get used to, and the (pointer movements? Forgot what they are called) REALLLLYYYY come in handy, great for writing essays or doing projects.
It has started to run slower. Really slow actually. I've defragged only a few times since I've started using 7, but it doesn't tell me I have a large percentage of fragmentation. Might be because I have the RC version, but I don't think so. (or because my computer is 4 years old and only registers a like... 3.5 rating XD)
Um... what else... Oh, the changing wallpaper feature is awesome , yeah XD.
There's a Startup folder in the >All Programs area, I don't know if that was in Vista or not, but it can come in real handy.
All in all I rate Windows 7 in
usability: 8
look: 10
feel: 10
awesome stock wallpaper: 10
overall: 9
Compared to XP
usability: 9
look: 7
feel: 10
stock wallpaper: 2 (seriously they sucked)
overall: 8.5 maybe (I'm not averaging these)
Oh, and you're going to have to get used to some different folder layouts, like, instead of /Documents and Settings/(user name) it's /users/(user name).
Also, the boot screen is way cooler than Vistas .
...I have no idea, I'll edit this if I think of anything else.
Other news:
I haven't been working on any new Journal skins AT ALL, oh well =/.
Photography has also gone to blah, haven't done anything for the past forever =/.
